Submissions
All submissions to Pissed Off Professor must be professionally written pieces. Please avoid accusations, personal attacks, or incendiary language. While this is a serious website, humor is also appreciated, and solutions offered to problems are more helpful than just grousing. Shoot for firm, truthful, persuasive, and authentic.
Topics may cover any topic endemic to (or related to) the academic world, preferably topics that discuss issues at universities, but if the issue is one at the K-12 level and impacts universities as well, the editors will consider it. Topics should be related to education in some way. Submission of your work is not a guarantee of publication on the POP site. The editors reserve the right of refusal.
700 – 3,500 words. In general, quality is more important than word count. If the topic requires more space, it will be considered.
Attach submissions in .doc format.
